Gosling’s Uncorked attracts wine and spirits enthusiasts
More than 300 people attended Gosling’s Uncorked, the wine and spirits showcase that featured representatives of more than 20 wine and spirits merchants and distributors from around the world.
Held on Saturday at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, the event featured industry representatives from Europe, South America, Canada and the United States, who hosted tasting stations, offering samples and speaking to consumers.
They were joined by representatives from Gosling’s, who were on hand to discuss the products they sell.
April Gosling Naudé, senior marketing manager at Gosling’s, said: “We were very happy with the turnout.
“We accomplished our goal by reaching new customers this year. Customers said they appreciated the opportunity to see and taste a diverse range of products. Our team members received positive feedback, with customers saying they found new favourites.”
She added: “We are excited to say that we will be hosting this event again next year. Our goal is to make it bigger and better each year by incorporating new elements.”
Wines from more than 20 vintners were featured, as were rums, tequilas, vodkas, gins, champagnes, cognacs, whiskies and bourbons.
More than 200 products were available for sampling.
