Conyers appoints two new directors
William Cooper and Davina Hargun have been promoted to director in the Conyers Bermuda office.
Christian Luthi, the chairman and director, said the promotions reflect the pair’s dedication and contributions to the firm. “On behalf of my fellow Conyers partners and our entire firm, we extend our congratulations to William and Davina on their well-earned appointments,” he said.
Mr Cooper, who joined the firm as a pupil in 2014 and became an associate the following year, practises Bermuda corporate law with a focus on insurance, investment funds and regulatory matters.
He advises clients on the formation and regulation of investment funds, insurers and cat bond special purpose vehicles, including listings on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. His work also spans general corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, financings and incorporations.
Ms Hargun, who joined Conyers in 2015, is part of the firm’s private client and trust practice. Her work includes advising on international and local trusts, private trust company structures, philanthropic vehicles and estate planning. She represents a wide range of clients including family offices, corporate trustees and protectors.
