Lido Complex fully reopens
The Lido Complex at the Elbow Beach Hotel reopened to the public Thursday for both lunch and dinner service, marking the return of one of the island’s best-known seaside dining venues.
Director Jacky DiMeglio confirmed the news, saying: “Guests have kept calling to see when we will reopen so we are very pleased to share this news and look forward to welcoming back old friends and making new ones.”
Diners will be able to enjoy the full à la carte menu, which will be served in the open-air gazebo and on the Sea Breeze Terrace. While the restaurant’s interior remains available for guests who prefer air conditioning, Mr DiMeglio noted that this year’s emphasis will be on outdoor dining. “This year we are focusing more on the expansive patio and covered gazebo overlooking Elbow Beach,” he said.
The culinary offering will continue to feature a range of Italian and Mediterranean dishes curated by head chef Paolo Lovari, who hails from Tuscany. The menu will also include the restaurant’s popular sushi selection. Lunch and dinner menus are available at www.lido.bm.
Lido will host a special three-course plated Easter lunch on Sunday, April 20, and reservations are recommended.
Beginning May 2, the restaurant will reintroduce its Friday night live entertainment, with performances by local artists Sarah, Natasha, Keith and Tony B, alongside a DJ.
Music will run from 6:30pm to 8pm and resume from 11pm to midnight, with live sets between 8pm and 11pm.
In addition to regular dining, the Lido restaurant, along with Mickey’s on the Beach and Deep nightclub, will also be available for private events.
