Island Health Services welcomes new doctors
Island Health Services has hired two new doctors, general practitioner Seun Bakare and family physician Iniekem Ufford.
A spokesman for the medical group said: “With over 16 years of clinical practice in the United Kingdom, Dr Bakare brings a wealth of knowledge and a patient-centred approach to care.”
They added that Dr Bakare had significant experience in urgent care and had worked across a range of National Health Service settings, managing a wide spectrum of acute and chronic conditions.
He will offer a range of primary care health services, including ear microsuction and shock wave therapy.
Meanwhile, Dr Ufford is now at IHS on Dundonald Street in Hamilton.
The firm said: “With extensive experience in both medicine and surgery, Dr Ufford provides high-quality, patient-centred care. After earning his medical degree from the University of the West Indies, he has worked across various healthcare settings, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management and holistic wellbeing.”
Dr Ufford will offer a range of primary care services including post-surgical wound care, sutures, incisions and drainage. Dr Ufford accepts walk-ins.
