Aiden Simmons continues flawless form
Aiden Simmons continued his superb form as the Bermuda Motocross Club season continued at the Southside Moto Sports Park last weekend.
Competing in the 85cc Division, Simmons enjoyed a flawless run, winning all three races on the day. Ruddell Pitcher was the overall runner-up, after following up a third-place finish in the opening heat with successive second places. An'yuri Persuad was third after finishing with two fourths and a third.
There was also a dominant display from Tinho Tucker Wall, who had a perfect performance with victories in each of the three 50cc races. Kody Paul had to settle for second in each outing, with King Clarke recording successive third-place finishes.
Ben Zoeller also went unbeaten in the Over-30 Division, taking the chequered flag in all three races. Ronald Trott finished second overall, following a second place in the first race with a third and fourth. Detroy Bean rounded out the top three with back-to-back fourth places and a second.
There was also a superb performance from Cassidy Spencer-Furbert, who won each of the three Pee Wee races. Messiah Baker also impressed with two seconds and a third place, while Micah Desilva finished the day with a second and two third-place finishes.
Azai Burt topped the 65cc standings after securing back-to-back wins and a second place from the three heats to finish ahead of Jaylon Glasford, who had two seconds and a third. A'jahni Foggo completed the top three after finishing third and seventh before wrapping up the day with victory in the final race.
Jazuri Easton-Thompson enjoyed an impressive afternoon, claiming overall victory in the Novice Class after following a second-place finish in the opening race with successive wins. Michael Maclean, who won the first heat, had to settle for two second places in the remaining races, while Kaje' Matthie finished with three successive third places.
Kai'jun Simmons came out on top in the Expert Class after finishing on each step of the podium in his three outings. Allan Degraff finished second overall after placing second, fourth and first, while Zano Tucker did enough for third after finishing fifth, first and fourth.
