A total of five drivers enjoyed perfect outings on a day of dominance in the third round of the Bermuda Karting Club National Championships at the Southside Raceway on Sunday.

Competing in the L206 Senior Class, Jason North won all three heats, beating Jesse Moniz to victory in each, with Robert Wheatley earning three successive third-place finishes.

The achievement was matched by David Barbosa in the three-driver L206 Masters class as he beat Chris Bonard in the first heat, before pipping Richard Walker Talbot to the line in the remaining two races.

It was also a triumphant day for Blake Horseman in the Shifter KZ class as he completed a clean sweep of race wins ahead of Ryan Rebello, with David Selley taking third in two heats and Mark Selley in the other.

In the Tag Junior class Roman Wilkinson proved the driver to beat as he took the chequered flag in all three heats. Jonah Moniz was also in impressive form claiming three successive second places, with Lucas Flood and Hunter Borland also getting on the podium.

Tanner Correia was the final driver to wrap up a perfect outing, dominating the Cadet class with Syah Pedro and Sadie Hocking finishing second and third respectively in each of the heats.

The Stock Shifter class proved closer fought with Jason Correia bouncing back from a fourth-place finish in heat one, which was won by Jason DeCouto, to take victory in the remaining two races.

DeCouto also finished runner-up in heat two, Cody Sousa-Saints and Shannon Caisey also earning top-three places.

It was much the same story in the Tag Senior class in which Brian Buholes ultimately prevailed in a tussle with William Dunkley. He claimed two victories to his rival’s one, while Jayden Brimmer settled for three successive third-place finishes.
