End-to-End registration still open
Walkers and cyclists can still sign up for tomorrow’s AXA End-to-End, organisers said today.
More than 400 people have already registered for the annual fundraiser.
Anne Mello, the event’s chairwoman, said: “I’m delighted that so many people have signed up.
“It is different this year due to Covid-19, but it is still important to raise money for charities, so I give my thanks to those who are taking part.”
She added: “There are so many people to thank for making the event happen on Saturday – all the organisers and the volunteers, as well as our tremendous sponsors who have stuck by us during these complicated times.”
Unlike previous years, there are no official start or finish times, or locations, due to Covid-19 requirements.
Participants can choose a start point anywhere along the route that is convenient.
The event will take place from 7am to 1pm and there will be water stops along the way.
Funds raised this year will support the Bermuda Zoological Society, Vision Bermuda, the Garden Club of Bermuda and Family Centre.
AXA XL is the event’s title sponsor, while Butterfield Bank and Deloitte are platinum sponsors, organisers said.
The AXA End-to-End event office at the Botanical Gardens will be open until noon tomorrow.
