Seminar on restorative justice to be held

A seminar on restorative justice will be held on Friday to mark International Restorative Justice Week.

The webinar will feature a panel of community leaders including senior magistrate Juan Wolffe, and Leroy Bean, the Gang Violence Reduction Coordinator.

The event was organised by Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda.

A spokesman for Curb said: “The public will be provided with a brief overview of Restorative Practices and will then move to a panel discussion on how restorative practices are being used in Bermuda and what are the outcomes being seen.”

The event will be held from 6.30pm to 8pm.
