Police operation as search for Chavelle continues
The Bermuda Police Service continued efforts today to find a missing mother.
It is understood there was a heavy police presence in the Cedar Hill area of Warwick as officers looked for signs of Chavelle Dillon-Burgess.
Digging equipment was believed to have been used in the operation.
A BPS spokesman said: “As part of this continued effort, a search was conducted today and we will continue to search locations as we receive information or intelligence.
“There will be no stone left unturned where there is a possibility of finding her remains.
“We wish to remind the public that this is an active murder investigation and we need your support.”
Ms Dillon-Burgess was reported missing by her mother on April 30, about two weeks before her 27th birthday.
But her last known contact with anyone was on April 11.
She is the mother of a two-year-old son.
