Vandals who desecrated a grave are being hunted by police, it was revealed today.
A police spokesman said that videos posted on social media showed “individuals desecrating a grave at a centrally located cemetery”.
He condemned the “vile and disrespectful act” and promised the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
The spokesman said: “We would also ask that members of the public who may receive these videos, think of the families and loved ones of the deceased and refrain from sharing or forwarding them.”
The police did not say when the incident happened or where.
Anyone with information that could help the inquiry should call 211 or the confidential Crime Stoppers line on 800-8477.
