A leading Bermuda medical clinic last week marked its tenth year of giving out some welcome Christmas cheer.

Bermuda Healthcare Services in Paget handed out more than 150 turkeys to the community for its annual event.

Mahesh Reddy, the medical director, joined with practice manager Terre Smith to lead the BHCS team in a uniquely anti-Covid distribution of the gifts.

Turkeys were placed in the trunks of cars which drove past a distribution point at the front of the clinic.

Dr Reddy said the donations went “smoother than we expected“.

He added: “There is an extra need for assistance this year.”
