St George’s Seafood Festival returns
The St George’s Seafood Festival is returning to celebrate Bermuda’s seafood culture with an afternoon of food, entertainment and community.
On September 17, from noon to 7pm, vendors will be set up on Ordnance Island, St George’s, to sell their seafood dishes.
It will be an afternoon of activities for all ages and an opportunity to be immersed in Bermuda’s seafood culture.
Candy-Lee Foggo, town manager and secretary of the Corporation of St George, is excited to advertise the historic town’s charm and history.
This year, the Corporation of St George and the Bermuda Tourism Authority have invited more local vendors and entertainers for this free event.
St David’s Seafood participated in the festival last year and is eager to participate again to share their enthusiasm for the cuisine and community.
Other local vendors, such as Smuck’s, EatClean Bermuda, Crab n Go and ClawBDA, will be joining in addition to last year's vendors.
Tashae Thompson, vice-president of experiences for the BTA, said: “This event is a testament to collaborative partnerships and will showcase Bermuda’s unique culinary seafood blend and cultural celebrations.”
While admission is free, a VIP experience with premium waterside seating, a complimentary bar and a VIP Seafood menu is available. Tickets are available at ptix.bm.
