Roadworks to cause disruption in Warwick until March
Created: Jan 07, 2022 11:44 AM
Road widening work in Warwick will mean a one lane closure on the parish’s Middle Road from next week.
The public works ministry said that the moving of Belco poles and construction of a new wall and sidewalk on the road east of Burnt House Hill would force closure of the westbound lane from next Monday until March 4.
The work will be carried out between 7.30am and 3.30pm and temporary traffic signals will be used.
A spokesman for the ministry said road users headed west on Middle Road should use the alternative routes of Tamarind Vale, Harbour Road and Burnt House Hill.
Those going east should use Burnt House Hill and Harbour Road.
