Take part in Bermuda’s first GeoTour tomorrow

n Bermuda’s first GeoTour will be launched on Friday, July 12th at Azu Beastro, in the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo. Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices and this GeoTour is a series of 20 hidden geocaches.From 5.30pm until 7.30pm, you can learn what the GeoTour is all about and how you can earn a beautiful Conservation GeoCoin.The Launch Party will be happening at the same time as Azu Beastro’s Happy Hour so, although there is no cover charge, drinks and their usual BBQ will be available. Accompanied by The Crossing Band, a group of seasoned musicians who have worked with the likes of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, Bailey will perform original songs from her soon-to-be-released demo album and other favourites at the Earl Cameron Theatre at City Hall.Partial ticket proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Bermuda Diabetes Association, and Dana’s Angels Research Trust (DART). Tickets are $55 for general admission, $65 for Patrons, and available from www.pTix.bm.n One of the best places to enjoy a Bermuda sunset is from the water — which is why Discovery Wines is hosting two more Summer Sunset Wine Tasting Cruises. The next one has a Red, White and Blue theme on Saturday, July 20th and the Ana Luna will leave the dock at Grotto Bay at 7pm, returning at 9pm.The cruise will featuring wines from the USA, France and Chile paired with some tapas and you are invited to dress in those colours and/or continue July 4th celebrations. The next cruise will be on Saturday, August 24th and will be a Glow Worm Spectacular from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.In addition to fine wines and canapés, you can also view nature’s laser light show in the form of the glow-in-the-dark mating ritual of these unusual creatures. Elevation, the international U2 tribute band, are back by popular demand and Message in a Bottle will be appearing on the Island for the first time, playing the music of the Police.The concert will also feature Bermuda’s own Kennel Boys.
