Enjoy wine and watercolours at Masterworks
Art enthusiasts of all levels can enjoy an opportunity to drink and create with Masterworks’ Artist in Residence Lindsay Hopkins-Weld at Whet Your Palette on Wednesday, April 15th. From 5.30pm until 7.30pm, you will sip on hand-selected wines while Lindsay demonstrates the use of water colours. Participants are asked to bring an image with contrasting colours. Warwick Academy Alumni Association invites you to an Art Auction & Wine Tasting Evening on Friday, April 17th. From 5.30pm, you can view and bid on artwork by local artists and Warwick Academy students, with the option to indulge in a wine tasting by Two Rock Wines Limited. Admission to the art auction is free and the cost for the wine-tasting is $25 per person. Saturday, April 25th is the last Saturday of the month, which means that it’s Super Saturday at Masterworks in the Botanical Gardens! From 10am until 2pm, children aged 12 and under and their families will be encouraged to participate in art, with free activities spread throughout the museum and outside. Free admission allows visitors to wander through all the galleries and to engage in as many different craft activities as they would like.
