Easter Fiesta: headliner Tarrus Riley

• Promising an old-school reggae concert that is showcasing international artists and local talent, Bermuda Easter Fiesta will be on Thursday, March 24. Taking place under the tent at National Sports Centre North Field, gates will open at 8pm and show time is at 9pm. Ninja Cutty will be the host for the evening, with international artists Tarrus Riley, Cocoa Tea, and Etana, local artist Jesse Seymour and DJs King Jyrus and Juggling Jason. • Promising to help our young women to achieve their best, the Take the Lid off your Jar Workshop for Girls will run from Monday, March 28, to Wednsday, March 30, for M1 and M2 girls (11 and 12 year olds), and from Wednesday, March 30 to Friday, April 1 for P5 and P6 girls (9 and 10 year olds). Written and produced by Dale Butler and directed by Karen Dill, this is an original musical/comedy/mystery with a live band and excellent singers. You may be chosen. • Bermuda will be one of more than 40 locations worldwide to host Fishackathon, running from Friday, April 22 until Sunday, April 24. During the course of this event, techies and environmentalists will join forces to create new applications and tools to address challenges related to sustainable fisheries worldwide. Taking place at Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, this will run from 6pm until midnight on the Friday, 8am until midnight on the Saturday, and from 8am until 2pm on the Sunday, with judging at 3pm.
