Be thankful for 2017 but attack new year
As 2017 draws to a close, and 2018 will be here in a few days, now is a good time to reflect on your year.
Personal reflection is something that we all should consider. We need to ask ourselves questions that will help us to close the year on a good note, and to bring the new year in with a positive mindset.
Ask yourself questions that stimulate your thought process. Reflect on where you were at the beginning of the year, what you’ve become and the journey you’ve been on these last twelve months.
Be thankful for what you’ve achieved, and write down how you feel. Look at what you’ve learnt, and acknowledge your most significant accomplishments and downfalls. Look at what you might have done differently, and how you would change them in the future.
No two years are ever the same, so look at the things that you were grateful for, and give thanks to those who helped you along the way.
My year has been full of changes. Changes in friendships, changes in training and plenty of changes in other areas too.
I’ve made mistakes of course. However, I learnt so many things this year and have accomplished more than I’d imagined. I’m looking forward to 2018 and discovering what’s in store for me and my family.
I’m ready to close the book of 2017. 2018 is coming, and it’s going be our best year yet.
