AFL to offer new service
ARGUS Financial Limited (AFL), led by its success in investing and administering the island's largest portfolio of pension funds, will now extend that expertise to private clients.
The company has hired two professionals to facilitate that purpose, Martha Harris Myron and Julie Ann Hendrickson, who will leave their respective posts at HSBC Bank of Bermuda to join AFL as senior relationship managers.
AFL currently administers 40 per cent of the island's pensions funds ? responsible for managing $343 million and making investment decisions on $164 million.
"After six months of successfully investing and administering the island's largest portfolio of pension funds, AFL is pleased to extend its investment service expertise to local and international private clients, corporations and trusts," a company spokesperson said.
"The organisation will now offer a full range of investment products in addition to discretionary management and non-discretionary administration services."
The new service is designed to enhance the benefits offered by AFL. As explained by the company's chief operating officer, Henry Perren: "I believe that one of the greatest strengths of the company is that experienced advisors provide objective, honest advice to private and corporate investors
" AFL takes a consistent, disciplined approach to investing, based on sound fundamental analysis and independent research. This approach allows us to select the best products available in the market based on the client's individual priorities, objectives and concerns.
"We look forward to meeting with both local and international clients to discuss the comprehensive range of investment vehicles we have available to meet and exceed their expectations of service and performance."
