Dear Sir,

Mr. Hilton makes some excellent suggestions, 'Armbands for Ex Pats' May 2nd, but I feel we could go further still. How about colour-coded armbands for all guest workers and their families? To begin with we could sort by religion as nationality may involve too many colours.

Yellow for Jews (following the excellent example set in the 1940s), green for Muslims, red for Christians.

Then perhaps, pink for homosexuals, orange for the wives/husbands/partners of any of the above categories, blue for their children, gold for anyone earning more than $100,000.

The possibilities are endless. The Royal Gazette could print a discrete colour key; beneath the weather section might be a good place, and we would all know where we were.
