Thank you for providing me with the space for this letter.

Due to the incompetence of Bermuda Telephone Company, Island Health Services has been without a telephone service for almost one week.

This situation is not only very inconvenient for our patients but also potentially dangerous.

I apologise to our patients for this inconvenience which was beyond our control.

Our new telephone number is now 236-0084.
