Saga Rose makes special Island visit

The cruise ship will be anchored in Great Sound tomorrow, unable to enter Hamilton Harbour because it has too deep a draught.

The research vessel was able to dock in St. George?s yesterday, however, and will spend four days doing crew transfers. The arrived in Bermuda from Woods Hole, Massachusetts, home of the world-famous Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.

The will arrive in Bermuda tomorrow, leaving on Friday. She will be carrying 135 containers, 19 of which are refrigerated, and one 45-foot flatbed trailer.

The arrived in Bermuda on Sunday carrying 190 containers, 44 of which were refrigerated.

She also carried 14 cars, one excavator, one boat on trailer, and four flatbeds. She sailed on Monday afternoon.
