Admission is free and the gallery is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.

Bermuda National Trust's Gold Tour, Historic Home and Nature Reserve

Date: June 28

Time: 10 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.

Venue: Bermuda National Trust Headquarters, Waterville, Pomander Road, Paget.

Join local eco-history expert, Tim Rogers for a fascinating morning visiting and learning in depth about the architecture, history, geology and natural history of two National Trust "golden treasures". The tour starts at the National Trust Headquarters. The house, not typically opened to visitors for touring, is open to you on this "gold" tour. The house is furnished on one floor with an interesting mix of local and imported furniture as well as good oils, watercolours, maps and china. The property also hosts the Bermuda Rose Society's "Rose Repository". After touring the house and grounds, light refreshments will be offered before the group moves on to Paget Marsh - the last surviving pre-colonial marsh. Ecologically a real treasure, you are invited to join this exclusive, private tour of two of the Island's treasures. Admission is $60 per person, but includes taxi fare, refreshments and a Bermuda National Trust Combo pass to three Bermuda National Trust Museums. Byways Walks

Date: June 26-30

Time: Two or three-hour long walks

Venue: Various locations

Go on a two or three-hour walk along Bermuda's back roads and trails. Travel to the start of each walk by bus or ferry depending on the location and participate in a real Bermuda experience of architecture, history, natural history and Island life with well informed and enthusiastic guides. Tours are designed for adults only and ticket prices vary from $30 to $50 per person, depending on the length and location of the walk. Walks operate daily except Sundays and you can call 504-8687 for reservations and walk information.

Cultural Art Tour

Date: June 27

Time: 11 a.m.

Venue: City Hall and Arts Centre, City of Hamilton, Pembroke

The Cultural Art Tour on Tuesdays is not to be missed. This one-hour tour provides visitors with an insightful exploration of the rich historical tapestry that is Bermuda's heritage. Covering Bermuda's history through the arts, its distinctive architecture, quintessential decorative arts and the rise of a celebrated fine arts community. This tour brings Bermuda's past to the present and provides visitors with a chance to see the living history of the Island. A minimum of six adults is required and bookings must be made in advance.
