Bermuda Football Association yesterday revealed plans to revive the annual awards ceremony to acknowledge the achievements of leading players.
Four nominees in the categories of Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Official of the Year, Coach of the Year and Playmaker of the Year will be selected by a panel of sports journalists.
The list of nominees will then be made public on February 6.
The respective winners are to be chosen at an awards ceremony tentatively scheduled for April 20, when additional awards will be presented to the team that exemplifies fair play and the Golden Boot will be awarded to the top scorers in the league.
All categories will have two winners, men's and women's.
