Do you consider yourself adventurous? Why not join an ongoing skiller team aboard STS Spirit of Bermuda <$>starting with a five-day introductory voyage this August?

This initial voyage will be followed by shorter voyages over the school year and skiller teams will consist of a 24 student crew divided into three watches and three volunteer watch leaders.

After the first five-day introductory voyage, each student crew must adopt a technical skill in either electronics/telecommunications/computer network servicing, engines/machinery/automotive mechanics or cooking/baking/culinary arts/food and nutrition/gallery supervision, or wood, metal and composite working — following National Training Board (NTB) pathways and certification milestones.

This introductory voyage is tuition-based at a cost of $115 a day, but there is an extensive need-based bursary programme available. For more information visit: www.bermudasloop.org
