Dear Sir, My name is Mrs. Margaret Sanders, I have just returned home to Yorkshire, after spending three weeks on your beautiful island. My brother-in-law Jeff Sanders was married on July 3, that being the main reason for our visit.

We have had a lovely holiday, and we felt very much at home as it rained some part of each day barring two. We stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mitchell. We couldn't have been better looked after, if we had been in the best hotel on the island. Mrs. Winnie Mitchell took us out most days, to show us all the interesting sights and places.

I was chatting to a young lady at Spanish Point, who is going to have a serious back operation. I told her I would send her a calendar of Yorkshire.

Everyone I spoke to was pleasant and friendly, and all the children were polite and well mannered. The children are very content just playing and swimming in the water, they never shouted or argued, they just simply enjoyed themselves.

My husband played one game of golf and enjoyed it, and he hired a cart which he has always dreamed of driving.

We had a lovely meal at Hog Penny, with Mr. & Mrs. R. Kendall.

I had a truly lovely relaxed holiday. I have been a very lucky person to have been to Bermuda.
