The Norwegian-flagged Ivan Gorton was en route to Halifax when she stopped at Five Fathom Hole on Monday to transfer the sick crewman to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The rescue boat St. David picked up the man who had been suffering from high fever.

The Ivan Gorton , a roll on-roll off cargo carrier at 1,863 gross tons, was represented by Harnett & Richardson. Her last port of call was Guaira, Venezuela.

John S. Darrell reported the Saturday arrival of the Margranel , a cargo vessel carrying bulk cement for the Bermuda Cement Company. She sailed from her Dockyard berth on Monday morning for Colombia.

Container Ship Management said the Oleander arrived on Sunday and left on Tuesday after delivering 122 dry containers, 44 refrigerator containers, Government-ordered heavy machinery for road improvements, one boat and a car.

The Bold Venture berthed at Marginal Wharf on Monday to deliver 23 40-foot containers of US Navy provisions. She began her return voyage to Norfolk, Virginia the same day.

The Bermuda Islander arrived yesterday morning from Salem, New Jersey with a cargo of 66 containers, four of which were refrigerated. The ship also delivered one bundle of steel and two horses. She left yesterday evening.

The freighter Trones has been held up in local waters since Monday awaiting the departure of cruise ships from Penno's Wharf.

To reduce her costs, the Trones has been in open ocean and is scheduled to berth at Penno's Wharf this afternoon when Horizon departs. Trones will then discharge tons of aggregate for the East End Asphalt Company in Bailey's Bay.

She is scheduled to leave Bermuda tomorrow morning.

The Osco Strike berthed at the Esso pier on Monday to discharge fuel. She left on Tuesday.

More than 4,000 cruise visitors landed in Bermuda this week aboard the Island's four regular callers.

Meyer Agencies reported Horizon berthing in Hamilton on Monday with 1,484 passengers, which is close to her capacity. She shifted to St. George's yesterday morning.

The Westward also arrived on Monday morning in St. George's with 826 passengers. She sailed to Hamilton on Tuesday and departs for New York this afternoon.

The Meridian berthed at Dockyard on Tuesday morning carrying 1,133 passengers.

She will leave again tomorrow afternoon.

Nordic Prince was on schedule on Tuesday in St. George's with 1,052 passengers and moved to Hamilton yesterday. She returns to New York tomorrow.
