down in the water at Fairyland Creek.
She was named as 38-year-old Mrs. Vanessa Simons-Brown, of Deepwood Drive.
Her body was pulled from the water at around 7.15 a.m. yesterday by Marine Police, who had been searching the coastline.
It was discovered about 150 yards from the mouth of the Mill Creek bay.
Police spokesman Sgt. John Dale said the alarm had been raised by the woman's husband.
Sgt. Dale was unable to say whether the body was clothed or naked, or give any information on the circumstances surrounding the death.
"Foul play is not suspected,'' he added. Sgt. Dale said a report would be prepared and sent to the coroner.
