I can express my individuality

I can practice the religion of my choice

I can express my opinions without fear of being prejudiced

Because I am free

I can travel around the world

I can see the sun rise and set

I can breathe fresh clean air

Because I am free

I can question anything

I can vote

I can choose my seat on the bus

Because I am free

I can live wherever I want to

I can not worry about being judged based on the colour of my skin

I can openly show my face as a woman

Because I am free

I can be educated despite my gender

I can work in proper conditions to provide for myself

I can make decisions for myself

Because I am free

I can choose the path I take in my future

I can respect myself and be respected for who I am

I can discover the boundaries of the world

Because I am free

I can do all of this because I have the freedom to be me

And everyone should too.
