11,000+ tourists arrive by cruise ship this week

The BISL MV Bermuda Islander will arrive tomorrow afternoon from Salem, New Jersey carrying 180 containers including 30 reefers, four trailers and one horse which is being shipped from Canada.

The ship is delayed due to an unscheduled visit by its classification society surveyor.

SISL MV Somers Isles will arrive arrive tomorrow morning from Fernandina Beach, Florida carrying 155 containers including two reefers, one 32 inch trailer, three steel tanks and one boom lift. The vessel is also late due to weather conditions in Bermuda last week which delayed her departure and turn around time.

The Norwegian Majesty arrived from Charleston on Monday at Ordnance Island carrying 1,444 passengers. She will return to Charleston tomorrow morning.

The Explorer of the Seas arrived from Cape Liberty, New Jersey on Monday carrying 3,391 passengers.

She is docked at King's Wharf and left yesterday.

Norwegian Dream arrived from Boston, Massachusetts yesterday carrying 1,473 passengers. She is docked in Hamilton and will depart on Friday.

Arriving from New York, the Norwegian Dawn is carrying 2,355 passengers and is docked at King's Wharf. She is scheduled to also leave on Friday. The Caribbean Princess will arrive on Saturday from St. Thomas carrying 3,200 passengers and sail the same day to New York from King's Wharf.

The Lucy PG will arrive tomorrow and sail after discharging fuel at Esso's oil docks.
