Cruise passengers lower
Cruise ship passenger arrivals fell by around 1,000 this week compared to last week, with just over 12,000 visitors arriving by ship.
The Grandeur of the Seas arrived at Kings Wharf on Monday morning carrying 2,197 passengers. The ship left the Island yesterday afternoon.
The Norwegian Majesty also arrived on Monday, pulling in to port at 2.15 p.m. with 1,653 passengers. The ship is scheduled to return to Baltimore tomorrow morning.
The Norwegian Dream came to port at Pennos Wharf yesterday at noon, where it will stay until Friday at noon. It is carrying 1,977 passengers.
The Norwegian Dawn is scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. today, and will depart on Friday with its 2,754 passengers to return to New York.
Arriving on Friday morning, the Caribbean Princess is expected to bring 3,460 visitors to the Island for a brief stay, departing at 4 p.m. the same day.
On Sunday, the Oleander came into port bringing with it 184 containers, 45 of which were refrigerated. The ship also carried seven cars, four road trailers, a truck, a boat, and a skid steer. It left port on Tuesday morning.
The Cenenmar Tres brought the Island a shipment of cement from Tampa on Monday afternoon, departing Dockyard this afternoon.
The Somers Isles docked in Hamilton yesterday, bringing 172 containers to the Island, while the Bermuda Islander arriving tomorrow is carrying 167 containers, including 30 reefers.
