High winds delaying tanker's transfer operation

Shell Tanker Moor remains alongside in Dockyard awaiting an improvement in the weather before shifting to the Esso Pier to discharge fuel for Rubis.

Meanwhile, the Liquid Propane Gas Carrier Odergas berthed at the Esso Pier at 8.30 a.m. yesterday to discharge propane gas sailing way that same afternoon.

The Somers Isles is scheduled to arrive from Fernandina Beach, Florida this afternoon.

She will have on board a total of 225 containers including 20 reefers.

Also included in this total are 84 containers that was transferred from the BISL vessel Bermuda Islander, which was towed into Florida last week for repairs.

The Somers Isles will also have on board loose cargo consisting of a trailer, a storage tank, a concrete vault and two swimming pools. She will sail back to Florida on Friday.

BISL replacement vessel Rio Para will arrive on Thursday with a total of 148 containers including 16 reefers and a trailer. The Rio Para will sail back to Salem on Friday.

The Oleander arrived on Sunday carrying 176 dry containers and 51 refrigerated containers including nine road trailers, a truck, a telehandler and ten cars. She sailed from Bermuda yesterday.
