Three regular callers offload 460 containers
There are 462 containers destined for Bermuda this week.
The container ship Oleander arrived in Bermuda on Sunday carrying a total of 162 containers and some miscellaneous cargo.
Of the 162 containers discharged 120 were filled with dry goods while the remaining 42 were refrigerated.
Also on board for the Island were two road trailers and eight vehicles. The Oleander sailed from Bermuda at 8.05 a.m. yesterday.
And the Somers Isle arrived in Bermuda yesterday morning from Fernandina Beach, Florida. Upon arrival the ship discharged 170 containers, seven reefers, two trucks and six boats. She is set to return to Florida today.
The Bermuda Islander will arrive tomorrow morning from Salem, New Jersey. Upon arrival in Bermuda she will discharge 130 containers including 30 reefers and three flat racks. She will return to New Jersey Friday morning.
