To highlight the importance of volunteering in Bermuda, the Centre on Philanthropy has paid tribute to the efforts of Eugene Dean, who volunteers for Greenrock.Greenrock stated: “Eugene lends hundreds of hours of volunteer time to Greenrock by way of presenting 15 to 20 school road shows each year as well as being the main event manager for our Earth Hour celebration in the spring of each year.“He also can be found at our monthly Management Committee meetings and various project meeting and events throughout the year.“Eugene tirelessly shows up above and beyond what one might ordinarily expect from a volunteer and truly embodies the meaning of community service work.”Mr Dean was recognised at last year’s Centre on Philanthropy Volunteer Recognition Reception.
