Capital G and Logic score well on customer satisfaction

BF&M, HSBC, Digicel, M3 Wireless and Cable & Wireless are among the leading companies in their industries, according to a customer survey released yesterday.The Selected Industry Customer Perception Study for January 2011, which was conducted by Research Innovations, polled 600 people during one week this month with a 3.9 percent margin for error.The study revealed that Capital G has the highest ranking for customer satisfaction in banking, with 80 percent of its customers reporting they are “very satisfied” with the service they had. A majority of residents (51.5 percent) identifed HSBC as their primary bank.BF&M had the largest market share of the vehicle insurance sector at 38.1 percent.Respondents said that Digicel and M3 Wireless held equal shares of the cell phone market at 35.1 percent and 35.6 percent, respectively, and Cable & Wireless had the largest stake of the residential long distance telephone market at 39 percent.In terms of satisfaction levels, Freisenbruch-Meyer has the highest ranking in customer satisfaction in insurance, with 80.8 percent of their customers reporting they were “very satisfied” with the service they received.M3 Wireless and CellularOne tied at number one for customer satisfaction in the mobile phone sector with 51.4 percent and 49.2 percent, respectively, reporting they were “very satisfied” with the service they were given.Logic had the highest ranking for customer satisfaction in long distance telephone service with 87.5 percent of their customers saying they were “very satisfied” with the service they received.The full report contains the results on customer loyalty, perceptions on cost for the different sectors and is cross-tabulated by age, gender, income and race.For more information, contact Research Innovations at info[AT]researchmix.com
