Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. has been added to the constituent base of the BSX Bermuda Insurance Index, the Bermuda Stock Exchange announced yesterday.

The total number of index constituents now stands at 12 with a combined market cap of $37.9 billion.

Axis Capital began trading on the New York Stock Exchange this week under the ticker symbol AXS. The company raised $473 million and traded at $22.75 after its first day of trading on Tuesday. Yesterday it closed at $25.60.
