The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 8.33 points yesterday to close at 4,400.98.

On a quiet day of trading Bermuda Commercial Bank was the only issue to advance, gaining 50 cents to close at $8.25 as investors traded in 3,200 shares.

The only other activity on the Exchange saw Butterfield Bank decline 25 cents to close at $57 as 3,730 shares changed hands.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $238,920.00 and the overall volume of shares was 6,930.
