The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 6.08 points yesterday to close at 3,890.15.

On a quiet day of trading, Belco gained 65 cents to close at $41 as investors traded 125 shares.

The only other activity saw Butterfield Bank trade in 3,737 shares to remain unchanged at $46.60.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $179,254.20 and the overall volume of shares was 3,862.
