The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 17.44 points to close at 3,196.21.

BF&M saw the most movement with investors trading 15,000 shares, pushing up the price 50 cents to $13. The price of Butterfield Bank stock rose 20 cents to $40.95 with 559 shares trading.

Belco Holdings was the only other stock to move with investors trading 150 shares pushing up the price 30 cents to $41.80.
