The Royal Gazette's sister publication Bottom Line is to be published six times a year from 2002.

The first issue of the new six-times a year format will be published under its new editor Rebecca Zuill in January.

"Business is key to Bermuda, and to reflect this, we will be putting more of our resources into covering both local and international business events and issues," said Ms Zuill, who took over the editor's post at the end of the summer.

"In the difficult times following September 11, Bermuda has shown how resourceful it is and filled the gaps left in the insurance market."

She said that to cater for the growing interest in international business, e-commerce, technology, telecommunications and finance as well as the local retail sectors, the decision had been taken to expand the issues from four to six.

Bottom Line began publishing under Crown Communications, a sister group to The Royal Gazette, in the early 1990s.

Since then it has gone from strength to strength and has proved itself as quarterly publication. And now under its new editor there will also be expanded technology and employment columns as well as regular features on the latest business topics. The previously monthly magazine RG, will now also be published every two months.
