BSX drops 22.76 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index lost ground yesterday in light, mixed trading.The Index closed down 22.76 points to 2,647.58 on volume of $56,467 worth of shares.The Bank of Bermuda dropped 75 cents to close at $44.25 on volume of 2,400 shares while Bermuda Commercial Bank edged up 25 cents to $6.70 on volume of 1,200.

The Bank of Bermuda dropped 75 cents to close at $44.25 on volume of 2,400 shares while Bermuda Commercial Bank edged up 25 cents to $6.70 on volume of 1,200.
BF&M Insurance also gained ground, rising 25 cents to $9.75 on volume of 2,000 shares.
Belco Holdings Ltd. slipped 25 cents to $30 on volume of 1,400.
