The Bermuda Stock Exchange Index closed yesterday at 2,728.08 losing 27.38 points or 0.99 percent with 868 shares sold.

Bank of Bermuda opened the day with a bidding price of $44.50 while shareholders asked for $46. At the close of the day 110 shares moved unchanged at $46.

The Bank of N.T. Butterfield fell a dollar to close at $32 on volume of 443.

Argus Insurance Co. Ltd fell 0.75 cents to close the day $24 on a volume of 217.

Belco Holdings Ltd closed unchanged at $30 on a volume of 98.
