BSX falls as insurers slip

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 1.20 points yesterday to close at 3,832.44.On an active day of trading yesterday Butterfield Bank rose 40 cents to close at $46.00 on volume of 200 shares.Kentucky Fried Chicken gained 25 cents to close at $6.00 as investors traded in 1,500 shares, while BF&M declined $1.50 to close at $17.00 on volume of 300 shares.

Argus Insurance also made a slight decline of 20 cents to close at $26.80 as investors traded in 500 shares.
Belco Holdings remained unchanged at $40.40 on volume of $528 shares and KeyTech remained unchanged at $13.00 as 200 shares changed hands.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX on Thursday was $61,526.80 and the overall volume of shares was 3,328.
