The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index rose 25.67 points - or one percent - yesterday, to close at 2,468.40

The Bank of Bermuda gained 70 cents on their share price, which moved up to $46.00. The Bank traded 8,395 shares.

The Bank of Butterfield also saw a price increase - of 25 cents - to close at $29, while 2,500 shares moved.

Island Press - the parent company of the Bermuda Sun - also saw a price increase of 25 cents, to a share price of $4.50. The company saw 100 shares change hands.
