BSX stays red hot

The Bermuda Stock Exchange stayed in record territory last week, gaining 2.54 percent to close at 2,989.38.

The increase was driven mostly by gains in the Bank of Butterfield, whose share price rose by $2.50 during the week to close at $45.

Utility companies also gained. Belco shares gained a quarter to $35.25, while KeyTech gained $1.50 to finish the week at $12.

Total volume was 12,207 shares.
