A five-decade-old restaurant on Serpentine Road has not closed for good despite a radio report yesterday morning stating that it had.

Mix 106 news shocked loyal customers of Buckaroo Two yesterday morning by reporting that management had told staff to go home because the popular eatery was being closed permanently.

However, management later posted a sign on the door that said the restaurant was only closed for the day because of an electrical problem. It was due to reopen this morning.

Mix 106?s Brian Darby said that he filed the report after his newsroom received phone calls from one staff member and two customers between 8:00 and 8:10 am yesterday morning.

The story only ran once and as soon as management announced the closure was only temporary, they retracted the story in the next newscast.
