The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 31.24 points yesterday to close at 4,901.11.

On a day of quiet trading, Butterfield Bank rose 25 cents to close at $56.50 as investors traded in 435 shares.

The only activity on the Exchange saw the KeyTech gain 75 cents to close at $16.25 on volume of 3,000 shares

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $73,327.50 and the overall volume of shares was 3,435.
