ACE Tempest Life Re's Rodney Cordle is leaving Bermuda after eight years on the Island to take up a new post with the company, based in Stamford, Connecticut.

Mr. Cordle has been appointed ACE Tempest Life Re's vice-president and chief pricing officer. During his time in Bermuda he has been responsible for providing direct off-shore reinsurance solutions to clients.

Before joining ACE, Mr. Cordle was a pricing actuary at Allianz Re in Minneapolis. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Iowa State University, and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Mr. Cordle will report to Ronald Colligan, president and chief operating officer, of ACE Tempest Life Re. "Rod's high level of technical experience and expertise, combined with his insight into the primary and reinsurance business, brings significant additional strength to our organisation," Mr Colligan said.
