Cox to speak at women's forum
Finance Minister Paula Cox will speak on the theme of risk, courage and justice at the International Women's Forum (IWF) tomorrow in Washington, D.C.
She has been invited by the IWF Global Leadership to join a panel addressing an audience of 600 at the IWF Global Leadership Conference at the JW Marriott Hotel.
Ms Cox has been asked to speak about the key risks facing Bermuda and how they interlink with globalisation.
She will say that Government's objective is to achieve the vision of an adaptive economy characterised by growth, employment and equity in the 21st Century. In addition, organisers have expressed an interest in the policy measures that Bermuda has implemented to promote justice and social stability in the Island's community.
Ms Cox will share with the global audience the substance of Bermuda's Social Agenda.
