Local IT firm Systems Business Integration Limited (Sbi) is moving into the European market with the opening of a London office.

The UK office, which is to be located in the Lloyds of London Building under the company name of Systems Business Integration Limited London, will be overseen by Eric Huntington as president.

Mr. Huntington had previously worked with Sbi Limited as a Senior Consultant and will be departing from his current position with PartnerRe to take on this new role.

Mr. Huntington said: "This is a tremendous opportunity for Sbi to grow its core business into the European marketplace.

"It will allow us to provide our services to existing clients as well as potential clients."

Sbi CEO Jamie Thain added: "We see a great deal of synergy between the London - Bermuda marketplaces.

"Having a permanent presence in Lloyds will allow us to better service our customers.

"We have several customers in London already, and are able to seamlessly coordinate network operations across the time zones.

"Sbi has customers with offices in France, Switzerland and Ireland. Having a base in the UK will also allow us to service those regions more effectively."
