Long Botham Boats? profits edge up

Long Botham Boats, the owners of Henry VIII and Henry's Pantry, had seen its profits inch up by 12 percent for the six months to the end of December, 2003.
In a report issued yesterday to the Bermuda Stock Exchange, president and chief executive officer Paul King said that as of December 2003, the company 's net income was $478,797 compared to $425,192 for the same period last year.
Long Botham lost the contract for the snack bar concession at Horseshoe Bay in December last year, but no mention was made in the release about this loss.
The company said that total assets stood at $6,618,058, up from $3,975,783 the year before and revenues were also up from $2,731,303 to $4,334,306.
Earnings per share were $0.96 up from $0.85 in 2002.
